Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

FreeQR (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides subscription-based services for creating and managing QR codes. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains our rules regarding subscription cancellations, refunds, and account termination.

2. Free-Tier Accounts

Free-tier accounts are not charged and may be cancelled at any time by deleting your account or ceasing to use the Service. No refunds apply.

3. Paid Subscriptions

  • All paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected term (monthly or annually).
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Refund Eligibility

  • Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription before it expires, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused portion, calculated in whole months only. Any partial month is considered fully used. For example, if you have paid for 12 months and cancel after using 1 day of the first month, you will be refunded for the remaining 11 months.
  • Monthly subscriptions: No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions once the billing cycle has started.
  • Refunds are also available in cases of duplicate charges caused by a billing error, verified technical failures on our side that prevent use of the Service, or proven fraudulent use of your payment method (with official documentation).

5. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by visiting your account settings and selecting “Cancel Subscription.” Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
